Weapon Swap doesn't swap skill key assignments, is this supposed to be this way?

Hello,
When you swap weapons aren't the key assignments supposed to change also? (Like in POE 1?) As it is now, my weapon swap is useless, as when I swap to weapon II, there are no corresponding skill/key assigment changes, so it is useless... Is this something wrong with my installation?
