Cast on Freeze skill

I cannot tell if this is working, is there way to know? I have cast on freeze with Frost Bolt and Impetus but I never see any frost bolts when I freeze targets.

Make sure it's turned on. If it is, you should see a percentage counter (top left I believe is default). You'll also want to make sure you're actually freezing enemies and not just outright killing them (boilerplate statement). It appears to work for me.

right click the icon to turn it on, youll see a spinning wheel and your spirit will be reserved

So like an aura should reserve something.
