**Urgent Feedback For Devs To Consider**

Hello POE 2 Developers,

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to take a moment to express my thoughts regarding some concerns I have for the future of the game, particularly for us console players. After spending a little over 40 hours playing, I must commend you on the overall polish of the game. However, there are a few pressing issues related to controls that I feel need to be addressed.

One of my main concerns revolves around the twin-stick aiming setup that is currently in place. While I appreciate the effort to create a unique control scheme, I believe this setup limits our ability to effectively manage our ranged classes, such as the Ranger. In my experience, I often find myself restricted to aiming only two abilities effectively simultaneously, which can be quite frustrating.

To elaborate, the gameplay mechanics in POE 2 seem to blend elements of roguelikes and action RPGs. However, the control scheme can lead to awkward targeting issues, especially during intense combat situations. For example, when utilizing my Deadeye Lightning Arrow build, I have noticed that the targeting system tends to prioritize enemies at the edges of the screen. This can be particularly problematic when facing hordes of enemies that are directly in front of me, causing me to waste mana on targets that are not immediately relevant.

I propose that you consider introducing an advanced targeting option in the settings menu. This feature would allow players to customize their targeting preferences, such as prioritizing the closest enemies or those afflicted with status ailments/interactable other skills that other players are using on enemies. Additionally, it would enable players to manually override targeting choices using the right joystick when necessary.

Currently, my skill setup includes Lightning Arrow on the right trigger, Lightning Rod on the right bumper, and Storm Caller Arrow on the Y face button. With additional skills bound to the remaining face buttons and the left bumper, I find myself constantly juggling multiple abilities. However, even with this setup, I feel limited in my options, as the current system only allows for a small number of skills to be effectively utilized.

I firmly believe that by providing console players with greater flexibility in their controls, you can enhance the overall gaming experience. This change would allow us to engage with the game more fluidly and reduce the frustrations caused by the existing targeting system.

Thank you for considering my feedback. I genuinely hope that my suggestions contribute positively to the ongoing development of POE 2. I look forward to seeing how the game evolves and hope that console players will have the opportunity to enjoy it to its fullest potential.

Best regards,
[ZaydenBlu]
