Cannot use premium tabs (PS5 + Steam linked account)

Hi there,

I've bought and played PoE2 on my PS5 (the $60 version) and have bought some special stash tabs there.

Today I linked my Steam and PS5 accounts here on this website because I also wanted to play on pc. I've bought the $30 version through Steam.

Once logged in, I made sure to pick the PS5 account to create my new character, and once I got to the encampment I noticed that my premium tabs now are Remove Only.

What does remove only mean? Obviously I cannot add anything to those tabs, and only take from them, but I also want to add to them. If I remove everything does that tab disappear? Do I have to re-buy the premium tabs even though I've already bought them?

Would love some more information because so far everything I've found makes no sense. I have no clue what standard or league or anything like that means. I just made characters the regular way, didn't do anything fancy, 100% not on hardcore either.

Most of the information you'd find on Remove-Only Tabs would be in relation to how they've been in the past, whereas the experience you're having now is something that's only been possible the last month.

GGG wasn't able to reach an agreement with Sony regarding purchasing MTX on one platform and using it on another, so MTX purchased on your PS5 can't be used from PC or Xbox (section: Microtransactions). This includes your stash tabs:

Stash tabs become remove-only when logged into a different platform where you don't own them.

While you can't use the tabs that you purchased on PS5 while logged into PC, viewing them as Remove-Only allows you to retrieve their contents. I presume that if you remove their contents, they'll be hidden on PC--but still fully accessible when you log back in on PS5. However, I don't have a PS5 to test that myself.

Unfortunately. If you want to have full use of extra stash space on both platforms, I believe you'd need to purchase those tabs for each.

I guess there's nothing to do aside from purchasing them on PC again. At least now I know why I would need to buy them again.

I have it on the PS5 and PC. Essentially you have to buy all the stash types you want to be accessible again (without the remove-only) parameter. I bought it on the PS5 first, and items I put in the premium tabs were labeled as "remove-only" on the PC. After I bought the premium tab on the PC, it simply removed the "remove-only". Good implementation for a problem that Sony created.

This should be a massive warning when you buy on PS5. I bought into 3 platforms on POE2 and this feels really bad.
