General's Binding Bug - 8% off 20k evasion gives me 150 armor. just wasted 28 exalted on anointment. Not sure how New Zealand math works, but it should be much more! :)

Bump. Wind Dancer doesn't seem to increase it even though it's worded like it should.

Wind Dancer is a + (more) evation rating and not increased. So it should count to 8% conversion of total evation rating to armor. Its clearly a bug and you should fix it.

The main question still remains unanswered. Why does 20k dodge give 150 armor? What's the point of such a skill?

It is most likely the same as with damage gains -> it applies to the base evasion before modifiers and then the modifiers are applied to the result if applicable
this means, you will gain 8% of what base evasion you have on items, then it can be increased by armour modifiers so this is probably not a bug. The passive just sucks in 99% cases IGN: Eric_Lindros CET: Timezone Last edited by Ludvator#6587 on Dec 21, 2025, 12:53:05 PM

" but this is a bug. no other defensive modifier is considered in this way. if I get 1 energy shield for 12 evasion, it is considered after all modifiers, not before it's unlikely that the idea of making a skill that grants 100 armor for 20k evasion was ever considered |

" Not a bug. Gain, Convert keywords are applied to the base value before any modifiers. 1 es per 12 ev mod does not say Gain or Convert. |
