Trials tokens too rare to find.

I am currently level 67 and have made it to maps and have only found 3 tokens to use to get into either trials of sekhema and trials of chaos. Of those 3 I found I could only use ONE that actually mattered since I need it to be level 60+. The only one I used that was 60+ I died to getting one shot by lightning. Since then, I have not found a single other one and I am already at the end game with only 4 out of 8 ascendency points. I don't know but that feels kind of wrong.

Anyone else having this issue or is it normal to go into end game with only half of your ascendency points.

Yes, I think so. Playing Sorc-->stormweaver and even trying to figure out how the trials work in the cruel acts was difficult for me. Someone on the forum suggested I just finish the campaign first and THEN do the cruel ascendancy trials.

-I have "keys" (baarya and ultimatum) that tell me they will give me ascendancy points but then I look later and the same one tells me it won't. I have been googling like mad and still just really confused. I couldn't get close to completing the later on trials before but not sure when to try cos my entry items keep changing their minds as to whether they will even give me points if I do them.

-I had better luck with getting these as drops but since they change their minds about if they will give me points and some say 3 floors and some say 7, I really don't have a clue what to do still.

So I am in end game and only have the 4 ascendancy points from doing the trials in the first 3(normal) acts because at that point, it was easier to understand what would or would not happen if I engaged with the trials.

i dont think they are that rare, especialy when there is a passive that straight up gives you 10% dropchance on the atlas, my concern is more like that it is around the level of the zone you are in +/- 1 what i mean is like lvl 73 zone and token area level will be somewhere between 72 and 74 (i have like 10 chaos and 4 sekhema in my stash atm)
