monk- cant' use charge staff

Hi guys, I'm level 34 with my monk and I just acquired the charge staff skill. However, for some reason the skill remains gray and I cannot use it, although I am able to produce the necessary charges, or at least I think so... I use syponing strike and killing palm, I see the generated charges swirling above my character but despite this the skill it is unusable. Any suggestions?

to use CHARGE staff you need CHARGES this is in the form of power charges. when killing enemies and them getting low life IF you have KILLING PALM equiped you wil see a little blue flame on the enemies heads use KILLING PALM to cull strike the enemy and collect the power charge then your CHARGE STAFF will have some power the more charges you collect the more more it holds if you takes power charges in the tree you can have upto a maximum of 7 charges theres prob more ways to get more but this is how it is hope this helps you also it needs a Quarter Staff to use so make sure you have one equiped

Alternatively you can use RESONANCE from the kill tree with COMBAT READY skill Gem once you are high enuff level, then good freeze or Electrocute build up will give you a infinite resource of power charges

Hi, I have Resonance active and I use all the methods to generate charges, as I wrote I see them swirling above my head but I CANNOT use the skill. Charge staff is linked with perpetual charge and innervate

Yeah you have your charges set up wrong buddy those are endurance charges the charge staff used POWER CHARGES those are Blue you can see the red "ball like" icon at the bottom of the screen above ur skill thats a endurance charge the charge will use the the same icon but it need to be blue ones im playing Monk and im used the set up you prob need pop to stream and i can talk you through it
