"You cannot use this item, stats will be ignored" POE2

Im playing on PC with an xbox controller. Other persons on controller seem to experience the same issue.

What fixed it for me was to exit to the character selection screen, then switch from controller to using a mouse, to move quiver from the second tab/ first tab. and that fixed it for all the quivers i had with that error.

Then i switched back to controller and that cleared the message.

I’m currently limited to playing on my Steam Deck on handheld only and so I have no option to change to keyboard to clear this bug. Have you had any reply from Devs on it being addressed?

Playing on PC with a controller and just got the same problem.
I saw that I had a red support gem that I didn't have enough str to use. Thought that might have bugged it somehow since the gems were equipped into weapons in POE1(?)

I have tried:

1. Restarting POE2
2. Using keyboard and mouse instead
3. Removing all support gems and skills
4. Checking other characters
5. Restarting the computer
6. Equipping different weapon types

STILL the same problem. I went from 6k dps to 1k dps without my quiver. So now I can't progress the game anymore, sucks. I hope someone figures out a fix.


FIXED: It was a bug involving weaponslots. I had to remove both my weapons from slot 1 to slot 2. It seems like the game thought I was using something which was not in the slot where my quiver was. Strange.

UNEQUIP BOW AND QUIVER FROM BOTH SLOTS AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE CORRECT WEAPON IN THE CORRECT WEAPON SLOT
