Afraid to make new char and get nerfed.
The CoF nerf basically made me question playing at all.
I am currently slogging with my garbage frost build after the nerf. I want to make a new character that can farm faster and do higher level maps and you know....be able to do the map stuff like corrupted which ironically, you literally need a build like CoF to be doing well in and not die. So im seeing all these builds that have similar or higher power than CoF. Deadeye Ranger Lightning rod Minion build A bunch of other strong Merc builds that wipe the screen. Some totem builds that wipe the screen. So.... What do I do now? If I make a build, its certainly not to purposely make a weak build....the whole point is trying to enjoy mapping without dying constantly or taking 45 mins per map. But which of the "stronger" builds will get gutted again? PS: im not fishing for OP but the whole point of the game is trying to make a build work well. So whats the treshold here? If the build can do corruption mods it will be nerfed? Is the point NOT to be able to do stuff properly? Ironically, I made my CoF build 95% myself and tweaked a few details with the help of a streamer. its not actually rocket science to find a stronger build if you stop and look at the skills. But I dont really like making builds so I usually seek advice and follow some guides and then just enjoy the fighting. Last bumped on Dec 16, 2024, 4:33:06 PM

It baffles me that this needs to keep being repeated.
THIS IS AN EARLY ACCESS AKA A BETA Stuff is 100000% going to get nerfed, buffed, changed, removed, etc. This isn't the game. It's a BETA. If you are afraid whatever you play will get nerfed, wait until the full release. |

" maybe stop copying stupid brolen youtuber builds? are you not capable to think for yourself? |
|
" In early access absolutely everything is up for change. Nothing is guaranteed to stay the way it is. If you are not OK with risking another build getting nerfed, then honestly there is just only one option left: Wait for full release. At least then, if they follow PoE 1 standards, builds won't really be touched during one league. I am only surprised that this was not clear from the beginning. As it was communicated from the start. |
