Sacrificial Heart - bugged in party

Hi,
I was doing Sacrificial Hearth quest (Cruel difficulty) in duo party. We both had the Hearth, My mate used the dagger and the Heart from my equipment disappeared. He got the 2 passive points item. I did not. Quest is greyed out on the map for me now.

I have the exact same problem on normal difficulty. Please let me know if a solution is found. If it adds additional context, the party member that interacted with the heart with the dagger was not party lead but did get the points while I did not.

I've now fully re-cleared the Uzaal and Aggorat areas two additional times. The first time I re-cleared them solo. The second time I re-cleared them with a new party member as lead who had not yet completed the quest. Both times I could visually see my heart in the altar upon entering the region but there was no dagger present. In the party, the other party member had a heart in his inventory and was able to use the dagger to complete his quest. My heart continued to appear on the altar before and after his completion of the quest. The map appears as though the quest has been completed for me (quest icon is grayed out) but I can still visually see the heart on the altar and have not received the associated skill points.
