Crashing almost every fight/map now
Turned my game to the lowest settings, did what everyone recommended with shaders and what not. Even tried under 800*600 res and its still crashing.
Started happening more often with patch update considering i have 90+ hours in game and all i had was the crash on map changes People say its a cpu problem where it peaks to the max and crashes your game. The game looks like garbage now with low settings and choppy movement. If anyone can help me out, it would be amazing of you. Having to launch the game 10 times in what seems like 5 mins is insane Im not lying about how often it crashes either All i can do now is reduce my attacks to single hits which is kind of painful, even thou it still crashes when the mob attacks Last bumped on Dec 18, 2024, 6:26:23 AM

has nothing to do with his PC specs because me and my buddy are both crashing since the last patch update. befored that i had 0 crashes since day one. my buddy crashes and he has a 4090 with I9. so its def not the issue....

New patch and its worse. Was working with reduced resolution. Crashing whenever a boss hits me.
Played for hours yesterday changing the resolution and using the lowest setting was working. Just in case, here is some help but as you can tell it doesn't always work Change to These Display Setting - Use Vulkan Upscale Mode - Use Bilinear Engine Multithreading - Take it off but it looks awful, Seems honestly optional Max render resolution - Going lower will make your graphics get noticeably worse Mode - Use Fullscreen and then change the resolution to a lower resolution *Note* If you use a secondary screen then the game will minimize each time you want to use it Other things you can try Under Nvidia Control Panel - Manage 3d Settings - Scroll down until you find Shader Cache Size and change setting to 100 GB They say doing this helps too Under your documents put this in search bar %APPDATA%/Path of Exile 2 Then enter ShaderCacheD3D12 and ShadeCacheVulkan and delete the files within Not sure if this help but maybe it will help you Other then turning everything to the lowest setting possible then this is what i have found to help. I believe the crashing is related to your character for some reason. Haven't tested if leaving the map and coming back can help. *Shrugs* Will update you if i find anything else.
