Corpse Explosion Needs Immediate Tuning
Imagine flying through the map clearing everything easy-peazy then "pop" you're dead. Goodbye boss modifier, good bye rare map with 300% mod Good bye delirium drops.
Corpse Explosion is overtly over-tuned. While playing through maps I shouldn't have to avoid walking within 2 meters of every corpse incase a rare monster appears and one shots me using it. It's not realistically avoidable when doing maps with high mob density / clear speeds. Instead of making it do insane dmg, please just make it stun and do a little dmg. Enough to scare you and maybe put you in a a bad position. It having the ability to one-shot you is really making me want to drop the game. I've died to it 3 times in 5 maps and it's completely destroyed my desire to continue progressing. This should be an easy fix, and then players don't have to have severe anxiety traversing maps wondering if at any moment they'll just die with no warning. I'm posting this thread to gather attention, but to also cultivate ideas for the developers to possibly implement. So, please comment what you think would improve this mechanic. I honestly dont know what you mean by this post. I'm a bonestorm/detonate dead build and I found this thread searching for feedback on delirium mobs not having corpses so the AOE part of my build (detonate dead) is effectively useless.
GGG please dont nerf Detonate Dead, but please do give the ability to detonate delirium monsters somehow (detonate their souls or something?) |

Posting another reply because Ive been really thinking about what your post meant. You used "Corpse Explosion" and I took that to mean "Detonate Dead" because so many Diablo players call it the former due to their similarities.
If you're talking about when certain enemies die and they explode, doing massive amounts of damage, yeah I totally agree there but I think they nerfed it in this latest patch (1.0.1e) |
