Merging of accounts - is this actually available?

I have tried to merge my XBOX and Steam account since the first 4 hours of EA and I have not had any luck at all.

I have tried both via email and the messaging system within pathofexile.com and neither of them have resulted in a response. (email were bouncing).

I wanted to get my accounts merge before putting too many hours into my xbox account, if I found that I wouldn't be able to cross-progress or some other thing I had misinterpreted.

I have purchased EA keys for both XBOX & Steam in hoping that would work, but I expect that without supports help it will be a lost cause.

Has anyone had any luck with getting all their accounts merged? What was the process if so?

I am currently trying to figure this out as well. I started with my Xbox account and then wanted to switch to my PC and see how it ran on there, not to mention see the differences in controls. I really hope that here is something that I can do about this.

I had just written in another post that the linking worked quite well. I had linked the PC account with Steam and XBox on the official POE page. Since then I can switch between multiple systems and all characters and progress are always available.

Yeah I am getting errors and cannot complete the linking. At this stage I still haven't received a reply from support email or support messages on POE.com.

Very frustrating, since I bought two EA's specifically for this ability and I cannot do something that others seemingly don't have any issue with.
