Stampede from Warrior
I like the skill stampede, but there is something that makes no sense. Normally, what i was thinking, is, that with stampede you charge through whole monster groups and do damage. Instead stampede gets deflected from mobs and you change your charge direction. Sometimes its like ping pong and at the end you charge in a random direction. Often you dont hit much enemies and the clear of monsters is really bad, because you hit the monster and charge in a completly different direction.
One time i charged in a group and my character made a 180 degree turn and i didnt hit any monsters. My expectation would be to always charge through enemy monster groups. Maybe that is something that can be changed. Last bumped on Jan 9, 2025, 1:32:19 AM

I just put Stampede on once I got to mapping with my warrior. Figured it could help with area clear, which it does when it works.
I did not expect to get stopped in my tracks by only a few small enemies. It feels like one of Warrior's best options for AoE clear right now and not being able to shove anything out of our way feels bad. As you say, sometimes you just end up going a random direction. So little control once running, and the occasional "ricochet" from an enemy. Hope some of this gets tweaked once the devs are back up and running |

Adding another voice to the choir - Stampede is conceptually a really cool skill, but the random riocheting all over the place and getting blocked by 90% of monsters makes it pretty frustrating to use.
I think another pain point with it is that it doesn't travel to your cursor like most other travel skills e.g. leap slam, but instead forces you to move the entire distance with every use. Makes it feel quite janky and like I'm not actually in control of my character at all. It is hard to tell if this would feel as bad or be okay if the other issues with it were fixed.
