New player here : POE on Mac M1 keeps crashing every 5 mins

Installed POE on my Macbook Pro M1 with 8GB RAM, I had heard that this configuration is sufficient to run this game.
But it keeps crashing as if it’s dyin’ , the game is practically unplayable how is this a popular game like this?
Read several people reporting the same issue, what a shame :(
