Ascendancy for the chronomancer and Merc
There are quite a few nodes that simply lack an actual identity and ends up being “Free” damage in opposed to more interesting mechanics around the character.
Here’s some suggestions To start please allow the chronomancer to use time rift whenever they’re ready instead of needing less mana to restore “something”. If that’s current how it is the skill is bugged. Preferably i would have it reverted to Poe1s effect with a time limit of 6 seconds forcing players to set up various safe points as the encounter progresses. As it stands you need to awkwardly walk around to capitalize on its movement making it feel clunky and useless when it comes to things you really want to dodge. Giving a Merc a node which allows him to use Bowskillls would create a more dynamic playstyle giving him access to movement and poison in addition to a way to apply electrocution. And instead of “10% quality” it could have +5% up to 20% quality of gems for each ammo type used in the past 10 seconds. A different take would be “If your character has 3 of the same stone (referencing 2 of Fire, cold or lightning resistance rings and a jewel) you could gain a powerful bonus such as hits ignore enemy armor for Green, Red or Blue skill gems. (The player can gain more bonus’s from more jewels) Because I’m playing HC completely blind i haven’t experienced the other ascendancies yet as i prefer the Witch for chronomancy (temporal rift) and the merc for more survivability via “you can satisfy gem requirements with 1 stat (Strength of course) Last bumped on Dec 15, 2024, 1:12:28 AM
