One With the River - passive typo?

This passive is part of the Quarterstaff group and has a bunch of bonuses when a quarterstaff is equipped except for defenses:

30% increased Defences while wielding a Staff.
30% increased Daze Buildiup with Quarterstaves.
30% increased Freeze Buildiup with Quarterstaves.
30% increased Stun Buildiup with Quarterstaves.

is this just a typo or is the whole node bugged?

I grabbed the node. It added 30% defense when using a Quarterstaff. I haven't tested if this is true with normal staves as well though I can't see why that would matter.
