[PoE2] Chronomancer Temporal Rift does not work with overshield
When you rewind, temporal rift will only set you to your maximum energy shield and not any overflow you had at the time - through grim feast, for example. I assume this also is the case with life overflow but I have not tested this.
Based on the wording it seems like this should work ("reset life, mana, energy shield to the values they had at the time"). So either the wording should be updated to clarify it cannot reset to overflow or it should be fixed (preferably fixed as Chronomancer is a bit weak :D ) Also a separate bug, supporting temporal rift with spirit reservation auras such as clarity has a hidden double cost and will not let you use temporal rift if you do not have an extra 100% of the spirit cost required available to reserve these auras. Cheers. Last bumped on Oct 1, 2025, 11:13:30 AM

Echoing this, as worded, it really should maintain overcap.

To be fair it does set to a state above full because using Temporal Rift won't floor the value down to the max.
But it only resets above the max if it's not required to increase it to do so. If you use Temporal Rift after picking up an additional Grim Remnant it will decrease your energy shield to the previous state, but that could be still above the max. Example: 100 max ES -> pick up GR -> 110 ES -> 4 sec -> pick up another GR -> 120 ES -> Temporal Rift -> 110 ES *BUMP* as I share the idea that Temporal Rift should reset to higher values even if they are above the max. *extra BUMP* as the mentioned spirit cost is also bugged |

Bump Bump Bump.
Temporal Rift resets values to flat max and not overflow like it should based on ascendency wording. All overflows are ignored today with the ability (In fact if you had overflow mana and didnt cast it resets to overflow level, but if you casted and then had overflow left over it will reduce your mana down to your max mana). Bricked my indigon mana dump setup. |
