Stuck on Quest Search Traitor's Passage Act 5 (2)
In the Traitor's passage area after killing Balballa the Traitor the quest item is not dropping. I killed her once yesterday and again today and still the quest item is not dropping from her. The quest remains active, but I actually think I already completed it. I was able to progress to act 3. But the quest is still there.

Its not a bug.
You wont get a quest item allowing you infinite attempts to ascend like you did in normal difficulty. Same goes for the other trial in act6 btw. You will have to drop invitations and then you get one singular attempt. Its quite literally "do or die". The Sekhema invitations do drop quite often in endgame tho and can also be bought via trade, if you dont want to grind it out. |

I believe I had the same issue, you're supposed to find the location to the trials if I'm not wrong but you have already discovered it through the first playthrough of the game. You just travel there through through a waypoint and the quest status will update. I have multipe Djiin Barya that have dropped from different locations while questing and doing endgame content.
If you don't have a Djiin Barya you can buy them pretty cheap depending the level. The lowest level ones for the higher ascendancies are a bit pricey though. Alternatively just wait for one the drop.    |

Also note that as far as I can tell, the Quest only registers as complete if you have clicked on the pillar with the decree about the traitor.

unfortunately the search for traitor's passage is always there and never disappear. after i searched traitor's passage 10 times, and grew 2 level apparently. i guess it is some UI bug or something.
