number of flasks changed?

I made some changes on attributes on skill tree and somehow my number of life flask decreased from 9 to 6 and number of mana flask decreased from 7 to 5. Not sure what I did, but I cannot recover to the original number. it is quite a bit of change for me because I need 9 life flask to fight the boss. Any clue why this change happened? Thanks,

You may have changed the amount of charges your flasks consume via passives.

Did you happen to switch out flasks at some point? Different flasks may have modifiers which consume different amounts of charges.
