POE2 Energy Shield not converting to Mana

I am using the Eldritch Battery which converts all my Energy Shield into mana and using Mind Over Matter to make my Mana count as health, but when I gain Shield via Grim Feast it does not convert into mana gained. I do not know if this is intended or not but it's a shame that Energy Shield gained does not regen my mana.

This is not a bug. If you mouse over the 'Convert' keyword, it will explain what exactly that does: your base stats from A are applied to B instead; modifiers apply to B instead of A.
Grim Feast recovers energy shield. It is not a base stat, which means that 'Convert' doesn't apply. |
