Increased % Energy Shield Jewels and Eldritch Battery node not updating

If you have the Eldritch Battery node selected, then swapping out jewels that gave you Increased % Energy Shield, the mana amount will not update to reflect the change.

Jewel giving Increased % Energy Shield socketed

Mana pool value WITH Increased % Energy Shield jewel + Eldritch Battery node

Mana pool value WITHOUT Increased % Energy Shield jewel + Eldritch Battery node

I see a lot of people confused about this, when you convert a stat you cannot scale both the before and after. What I mean is you can't scale your energy shield with % increases, convert it to mana with EB and then scale it AGAIN with % mana increases.
That's just how it works in poe 2 (it also shows this ingame if you hover over stuff), if you were to use spark and convert lightning to cold then increased lightning damage will do nothing as well, you'd have to scale cold. The only thing you can do is use gain x as y which happen after conversion, but you cannot double dip like you want to

I guess my assumption was that it would remain affected by any existing energy shield increase, and if removing the jewel, then my mana pool would go down to reflect the not existing bonus to ES ? If it doesn't then what does the jewel actually do when ES gets converted to mana ? If nothing, why ? That seems very confusing to say that X stats is converted to Y stat, but any additional increases to X stat won't convert to Y stat in this case.
This is definitely causing confusion but based on the new "Convert" rules. Since the base ES is now mana none of the % Increase Max ES nodes or Affixes should work.

However, I am noticing that % Increased Maximum ES on an amulet does increase your mana, which violates this rule.

Additionally, nodes that increase the amount of ES an equipment gives you should still work under these rules and nodes like "Dreamcatcher" are not functioning properly.
Not a bug. If you view the Eldritch Battery node in the passive skill tree and hover over the word "convert" it clearly states that the conversion only applies to your base ES. It means that it converts ALL of your base ES. That doesn't stop items from converting life to energy shield after the fact, which is what happens in this case.

So order of operations as intended is:

1. Base ES is converted to mana by Eldritch Battery
2. Ghostwrithe or Atziri's Disdain convert life to ES
3. Everlasting Gaze adds ES based on base mana
4. Percentage increases from skill nodes are then applied to both ES and mana

These are intended interactions which many people have mistakenly interpreted as a bug because they haven't read the "convert" tooltip on the Eldritch Battery node.
