Are Grenade Skills Affected By Accuracy?

Was curious if Grenade skills are affected by accuracy at all? It seems as if they never miss (the hit portion) and after some light googling, there doesn't seem to be a clear answer.

Some say that it does because it's an Projectile Attack skill.
Others think that because it's an AoE skill that it doesn't need it.

Would love some clarification on this if anyone knows.

Necro bump. I'm bumping this because, even 9 months, later we're still basically in the same situation. I would love some clear testing and answers on this.
The hit part must be Accuracy related. The initial hit.
But when u explode the grandes by urself - its Area of Effect and dont need accuracy .

Thats what i asume - I do not know, if the Evasion / Area Changes for players, also affected the Monsters. But i think it does. So Evasive Monsters also can evade AOE. But Granades are Explode and overlap, so it do not matter
Afaik, the fact that grenades are Area Damage tagged doesn't matter, as they are Attacks. Therefore, according to the fact they are an Attack and follow Attack's rules, they should be affected by accuracy just like any other skill. That being said, I have not tested this myself and cannot confirm it, hence my necro bump.

I have a hypothesis: the reason accuracy is not felt like it is needed on grenades is because the distance penalty for accuracy may start from the origin of the grenade explosion, as opposed to the player. If this is true, it would greatly lower the accuracy needed to hit most monsters, as grenade explosions start at around 2m radius. I would love if someone could test this.
