Eldritch Battery

Eldritch battery is supposed to convert energy shield to mana. The energy shield that gets converted isnt supposed to get effected by things like +10% energy shield, yet it does. Unless im just stupid it doesnt work correctly in the players advantage.

i was stupid and wrong, disregard.
You were not stupid or wrong, I have posted a thread about this issue as well. % Increased Energy Shield passives do not affect mana after convert which is correct based on their new "Convert" rules, however % Increased Maximum Energy Shield on an amulet will increase Mana.

This is indeed to the players advantage. Additionally some passives that I believe should be impacting converted quantity like "Dreamcatcher" are not working.
If you hover over the word "converts" in the Eldritch Battery description the tooltip states that it only converts base ES to mana. That's why percent increases to ES do not affect the amount converted. It's intentional. It's also why items like ghostwrithe and atziri's disdain are able to still apply energy shield while Eldritch Battery is active.

Example order of operations as intended:.

1. Base ES is converted to mana by Eldritch Battery
2. Ghostwrithe or Atziri's Disdain convert life to ES
3. Everlasting Gaze adds ES based on base mana
4. Percentage increases from skill nodes are then applied to both ES and mana
