My friend is currently two shotting bosses ON HIS WARRIOR, and I am fighting them for 10 minutes.
My single target dots last about 5 secs.
His last that long on the boss from his burn damage and take about 30% of the boss health.
Why is my class so weak and under performing?
Why do my dots just feel like they do nothing?
Can we make them last longer?
Can we make them not needed to cast every two seconds?
Can we make them dots?
I like dots.
These are not dots.
Dots last 15-20 seconds, OR LONGER!
Please, please, please, fix this.
I hate having to cast every two seconds to re apply dots.
ALSO, ALL THE SECONDARY GEMS FOR CHAOS DAMAGE NEED TO BE AVAILABLE, NOT ON HIT.
IF SPELL EFFECTS ARE NOT APPLIED BY "HIT" THEN ALL CHAOS SPELLS NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO CHAOS DAMAGE.
THIS CLASS IS BEING TREATED LIKE SHIT.
PLEASE FIX THIS.
ALSO, THE LIFE LEECH IS A JOKE, IF ITS GOING TO BE A THING, MAKE IT ACTUAL LIFE LEECH.
I HAVE 10% FROM ASCENDANCY WITH AN AMULET THAT GIVES 100% MORE, AND i STILL HAVE MORE HEALTH REGEN FROM 28HP PER SECOND PASSIVE.
THIS IS NOT FUN.

yeah... the game is very imbalanced and tbh not very fun, super over sized maps, slow slow progression, constant nerfing, im just going to go back to enjoying poe 1.

It just sounds like you aren't building properly.
Sounds like you don't have experience with the build. You can't go Chaos and blood, it is a death sentence. I have 100's of INT and chaos damage % with spell damage % and my "dots" take way too long to kill groups and killing a boss is near impossible because I can't stop "applying" or I wont do enough damage to survive but the more I apply, the less health i have cause there is not way to regain health with Dots. Hexblast is doing only 1600 dps and there is no viable way to play blood without going full ice.

Nothing wrong with blood mage chaos, look at the builds on YouTube, doing t16s in minutes, with over 50k dps.
