Question about Explosive Impact and SRS

Hey fellow gamers,

First time playing Srs/minions.

Maybe someone running Srs can tell me if Explosive Impact works with them.

15% increased Area of Effect
Burning Enemies you kill have a 5% chance to Explode, dealing a tenth of their maximum life as Fire damage.

im confused about the explosion, since technially they are killing the Enemies and not me.

Its hard to tell with all the fire and i would rather not waste 4 skillpoints if its not the case.

That's right, it shouldn't work. But at least in PoE1 there's a bug/feature that allows you to be assigned for kills caused by minions' DoTs. I wonder if it's still the case in PoE2.
