Character Deleted

Has anyone else had this issue, I recently linked my Steam and Psn accounts . Psn is when I was playing POE 2, while in the trial of the sekehma, the application crashed. When I rebooted the game, the character was gone and it had asked me to create a new one. I have emailed a support over two days ago and still have not got a response, I understand they’re busy but as someone who has over 50 hours in already it’s very disheartening.
