CI + Mana drain interaction

Not sure if this is the case or not but I've tested it thrice now and it repeats every time. Something to do with Chaos Inoculation and the Mana Drain Affix on Rare enemies. If you have Chaos Inoculation active and you run out of mana, you just instantly die. I've died with 11k Energy Shield still remaining because I get mana drained and just die. Any else?
