Act 2 - Centaur first boss feedback
Preface: This is not about the difficulty of the fight, but a "quit moment" after it due to mob behavior.
On the first centaur/hyena boss with the swarms, after the defeat of the boss, the mobs still keep spawning and charging the player. For me, this caused a death after the boss was defeated on nth attempt, but before I could get to the loot. Was it my "fault"? Maybe. Probably. But feeling undergeared, and still managing to get through the boss just to see the spoils dissappear after it was already defeated, does not feel good. I'm not a hardcore arpg player (more of a dad gamer, really), so encountering a "well that was a giant waste of time" coupled with feeling "robbed" of an earned victory (say what you want, for me it was not an easy fight) genuinely saps all fun of a play session. It's early access, moments like this are to be expected sometimes, but also feedback is also what ea is about, so here's a bit of it. Cheers. Last bumped on Dec 14, 2024, 8:38:57 AM

I was in a group and this one guy ran for a drop and died.
I laughed. Hope it stays like this. |

I had the same thing happened to me. I was furious, given how much I struggled thanks to the jankiness of the game.
The difficulty is just fine, but having the stupid dogs bounce you around like you're being juggled in a Street Fighter game and then dying is really stupid. They really need to fix the collision stuttering in this game, as it's really bad right now. In my fury, I ended up going back and re-doing the fight to get the item drops, but I don't think I get anywhere near as good stuff as I originally did. I think I originally saw a green item drop; is that even a thing? |

Keep fighting till everything is dead.

Well guess what there is a much worse ambush , on a later boss , with a delay also just when you start looting you die , enjoy .

It is definitely one of the more poorly designed bosses. That's not to say that it's bad, but it feels lazy compared to everything else. It has 'just throw crap at them' energy.
