I cannot see the chat on PS5.

I am playing on a PS5.
Even after checking all chat options (whisper, trade, world chat), I cannot see any messages.
I can send messages, but no one replies, and I don’t receive any chats either.

If anyone has experienced the same issue, please share a solution.
I cannot trade or communicate with friends…

do you got a black out background .
when u are in your Character sreen and on the left side, and hold L2 , to get to the chat menue, do you see a black background, not greyed out?

2 days ago, i got this problem, and everything on the Chat dissapeared, and i could not use it anymore. After holding L2 and arrow buttons ( there are Keybinds shown on the buttom. ) The chat totally, dissapeard, than gone on the right side over my Inventory. After some more Clicking, it got back to the Left side and worked again.
I do not know what it was, but maybe u can also hold L2 or the button that change the position of the chat, and the problem will be gone
