FYI: Don't bother using any Jeweler Orbs on any skill gem from your Ascendency.

They gain skill links as you gain levels, and at lvl 90 they become 6L automatically.

Can you verify lvl/# of socket breakdown?

At level 66 I have 5 sockets for both weapon attack and ascendency skill. Don't know when they unlocked, but I do know that I even had them at 65.
