Favoured Map Slot unlocked?

Just did my first T16 waystone and got the popup message "Favoured Map Slot unlocked".
Like,what? Anyone know what that's about? Didn't find anything in game or elsewhere.

This is just a sign of standard mapping mechanic under this garbage atlas. They just trying new things.

i wish we had a favorite map. i could just run sandspit all the time

Might be a bug, or something not implemented yet.

In POE 1 Favoured Map Slots allows you to choose which map on the Atlas you wish to have a higher chance of getting.
In POE 2 we use waystones to map, so I don't think that system works.

got the same today, any idea what we gotta do after you unlock this fav map slot ?
