Favoured Map Slot unlocked?

Just did my first T16 waystone and got the popup message "Favoured Map Slot unlocked".

This is just a sign of standard mapping mechanic under this garbage atlas. They just trying new things.

i wish we had a favorite map. i could just run sandspit all the time

Might be a bug, or something not implemented yet.
In POE 1 Favoured Map Slots allows you to choose which map on the Atlas you wish to have a higher chance of getting. In POE 2 we use waystones to map, so I don't think that system works. |

got the same today, any idea what we gotta do after you unlock this fav map slot ?
