Some Maths Help
So can anyone explain how the level 41 item is showing higher DPS and better weapon than the level 64 one.
I am using fireball converted to cold damage with the Blueflame Unique item. Wand 1 Item Class: Wands Rarity: Rare Morbid Barb Volatile Wand -------- Requirements: Level: 41 Int: 95 -------- Item Level: 41 -------- Gain 20% of Damage as Extra Fire Damage 47% increased Spell Damage 57% increased Fire Damage +2 to Level of all Spell Skills 11% increased Critical Spell Damage Bonus 21% increased Mana Regeneration Rate Wand 2 Item Class: Wands Rarity: Rare Brood Needle Volatile Wand -------- Requirements: Level: 64 Int: 146 -------- Item Level: 65 -------- 71% increased Spell Damage 69% increased Fire Damage +26 to maximum Mana +2 to Level of all Spell Skills 12% increased Critical Spell Damage Bonus Gain 42 Life per Enemy Killed The reason i ask is everything i did in calculation would suggest the 2nd one is better. Or, am i miscalculating how the +xtra fire damage is calculated on the total value, is this value added before the +spell and +increased damagae? Just want to understand to help better plan what is better going forward :) TIA Last bumped on Dec 13, 2024, 1:02:07 PM

I think +20% extra dmg after any increases
Mean its just takes ur dps and added +20% And +spell dmg also have diminishing returns cuz you have this from skill points Last edited by britnibrown1984#3108 on Dec 13, 2024, 1:03:14 PM
