[BUG] (Eldritch Battery & Circlet)

Couple of things:

1. Eldritch Battery passive skill does not do what it should be doing.

Keystone: "Converts all Energy Shield to Mana"

Note in the screenshot my current mana is at 960

After allocating the keystone I now have 1226 mana and 0 energy shield.
The Keystone took 702 ES and gave 266 mana.

Approximately 37% conversion of ES to MANA.

==============================================================================

2. The item Atziri's Disdain Gold Circlet disregards previous conversions of resources done by the passive tree system.

This bug is very exploitable and should be looked at, it could also affect other resources in the game.

The helmet provides #% of Maximum Life as Extra Energy Shield.

Taking a character with 1656 Life and equipping the helmet, you can see I suddenly have 1189 Energy shield.

The system appears to calculate the 28% of 1656 which is 463.68, it then checks how much energy shield the character has without taking into account conversion to mana and adds that amount to the 28% amount or vice versa.

Effectively:

463+702
= 1165 (give or take)

It then keeps the 702 energy shield allocated with the passive to be converted to mana. This means using this combo effectively just doubled the ES, one part is mana and another is ES.

The ES provided by the item protects mana instead of life, as it seems the system still counts mana as being converted to life because of MoM passive talent.

It's almost like there is some type-confusion, perhaps linked to Eldritch battery?

Feel free to respond if I can give more guidance on reproducing the issue.

Not a bug. If you view the Eldritch Battery node in the passive skill tree and hover over the word "convert" it clearly states that the conversion only applies to your base ES. It means that it converts ALL of your base ES. That doesn't stop items from converting life to energy shield after the fact, which is what happens in this case.

So order of operations as intended is:

1. Base ES is converted to mana by Eldritch Battery
2. Ghostwrithe or Atziri's Disdain convert life to ES
3. Everlasting Gaze adds ES based on base mana
4. Percentage increases from skill nodes are then applied to both ES and mana

These are intended interactions which many people have mistakenly interpreted as a bug because they haven't read the "convert" tooltip on the Eldritch Battery node.
