More Area of effect

I currently use "magneric salvo" at level 17. Its explosion radius is 2.4 meters, as stated in the description. If I understand correctly, "more" means multiplicative. If I use the "magnified effect" support gem, which states it gives 40% MORE Area of Effect, it should be understood that the explosion radius will increase by 40%. This means 2.4 meters * 1.4 = 3.36 meters (let's round it to 3.3 meters). However, in the skill properties, I only see 2.8 meters after setting up the support gem

Noticed the same thing, Herald of Ash radius goes from 1m to 1.1m. 40% now means 10%...
