Give back map death re-entry

I feel like the map system right now (where you die once and the map ends) is too hardcore. I can't play freely now and the only intended audience for this system is already playing the hardcore mode so I feel like this is unnecessary. Please revert back to POE 1 system where we get 6 lives so we newbies can play. Thank you so much!
