lack of info makes warbringer "turtlecharm" ascendency feel bad.

i am interested precisely in a developer answer or someone who has a direct link to this specific subject .
so basically as far as i understand now, block will block directional hits from all sides 'as of a latest patch'

so i have a few questions and points which i need answers / confirmation on.

1- a summery from what everyone have been saying, active block is 100% chance to block from the direction of the shield "the direction the char is facing" is that true ?

2- does active block work on all hits ? as in if passive block only works on directional hits then is active block gonna work on even non-directional hits ? if the answer is no, then does active block only provide the last 25% block chance? "assuming point 1 is true"
note here: warbringer ascendency does mention "block damage from all hits without raising your shield" so i have to automatically assume that raise shield blocks all hits and passive block doesn't other wise why even bring it up in the ascendency description :p

3- regardless of the answers from the 2 above points warbringer ascendency will be confusing. because if the warbringer ascendency will just provide the "block non-directional hits" upside at the cost of "techincally" 4 ascendency points and 35% less block chance. then the investmetn in warbringer turtle charm would be too big for the defense it provides. so for example to get all this block one might sacrifice enough passive points that would provide even more overall tankiness than "blocking non-directional hits", at least efficiency wise.

for that reason we need an exact clarifcation on what turtle charm does, including:

- if it widens the range of what's blockable, then to what end does that range extend. does it make us block EVERYTHING except certain boss abilities ?
- if you think the cost paid on the ascendency is justified considering even titan can get more block with their "50% more effect of small passives" and that same titan ascendency is already strong offensive and defensively.
meaning if you think the turtle charm ascendency is worth it, can you explain the reason why you think so?

well, even the first ascendency is not that worth if we consider it takes one prefix to get 40% base block on a shield.

this is actually my point in the thread, 4 ascendency points are already a HUGE price to pay, why are we paying 35% less block on top of it.
