mark's not respecting pinpoint

using Voltaic Mark and it only goes off int the direction i am running despite what mode i am in.
It would be nice if it would aim at the thing i have targeted.

also side note the gem tab is miserable to use with your cursor resetting to your inventory after every move. A cursor would help immensely as well the dpad it there for the single box movement let the analog stick work as a cursor when manipulating items please.
