Mob Mana Drain Aura....

Anyone else think the mobs with the aura's are a bit much considering most mobs have more movement speed than I can even get as a Mercenary?

Rare mob - has Mana drain Aura. Hops on me, drains my 700 mana instantly. I can't dodge roll or run away fast enough to regain any mana. I can't tp out because it has a casting time. I'm now in a perennial run away from bad guy simulator.

It isn't obvious but you are supposed to stay inside the circle. The mana drain effect happens on the outer ring, not the inside. So if you stay at melee range it wont drain you. It is a gimick monster to force close combat, like proximal tangibility. Hope that helps, it took me a while to figure it out.
Some things are just not well thought out. Imagine one such rare, with tons of energy shield, spawns in the tiniest Ritual zone when a tornado is chasing you. Crap like this simply makes one avoid the content. You can handle one deadly area denia, but not two, at the same time.
