Minions and Pathfinding / Movement

late game minion builds feel like I am babysitting in the worst way possible, specifically speaking of arsonists, hellhound, and storm mages, because that's what I'm currently using.

Minions follow far enough behind me normally that the only way for me to reasonably take fights without micromanaging is to tank every hit, I did not start this build expecting myself to be the flesh wall but that's what micromanaging is for, except without fair using the minion command key every time will cause a traffic jam at any even remotely small doorway, I can not understate how common this is. The most egregious place that comes to mind are the towers, where every fight is either a bridge or through one of these doorways, where the minions simply will not walk through because they collide with each other or pain offering (which if placed in a normal doorway, which happens most of the time because it needs LoS to minions, will block them from going through).

To make this worse minions don't seem to attack enemies most of the time unless you, the player, have direct LoS to them, and the minions do, which makes for awkward situations where there is an enemy through a doorway and I must play carefully if I don't want to lose the map, and my minions will just stare at them while slowly dying because I don't have LoS.

Finally, it seems the arsonist's projectiles can hit the top part of doorways and explode there, not 100% sure on this but it visually looks like that's what happens

If they teleported with me when I blinked, most of the traffic jams wouldn't happen, I would gladly sacrifice 2 arsonists for a movement skill that made my minions functional on nearly half the maps in the game.

As for the double LoS (and even sometimes I can be looking at an enemy but they wont attack until I hit that enemy first), I don't know if there is an easy fix, but it takes me longer to shepherd my flock of 13 idiots across a bridge and through a doorway to kill 2 single standard "trash mob" enemies, then it does to kill a boss, maybe 2 or 3 times over.
