Merged accounts and lost point?

I was prompted to merge my accounts and did so, but it seems like my poe website account and my poe steam account are still different even though they were created under the same email address. After the merge i lost my character and my points from my steam account but am still able to play the game from purchasing a pack but have no points from that purchase. None of the characters i have created on my steam version of the game show up in my poe.com account profile. Poe.com shows i have 300 points but obviously i can't spend them in the shop because my game actually shows 0 points.
