Thorns questions

Does the damage we do count as a hit? Does it scale with spell damage? Does Bramblejack mod count as thorns?

Can I get a link to information about thorns, I can't find any information.

I am Speculating.

I am 95% sure it cannot scale with spell damage. its physical melee.
I am pretty sure it counts as a hit, because everything that is not Area of effect or DoT is a hit.
I think Bramblejack is a Reflect physical, and therefore not Thorns, as Thorns looks like a flat Physical damage number you can get on gear and modify with passives.

Thorns damage is a new kind of damage (among Attack, Spell, Secondary, DoT) added in PoE2. When something deals thorns damage, it directly specifies that, e.g. 4 to 8 Physical Thorns damage

Bramblejack's 250% of Melee Physical Damage taken reflected to Attacker is conceptually similar, but is different mechanically.

1. Yes, but does it proc on-hit effects? I guess yes, but reflect from Bramblejack doesn't, while is also a hit. 2. No, Spell damage is another damage kind (source/category).

it doesn't seem to proc bleed on hit.
it doesnt proc the armour break on hit ascendancy

it may need to proc off magnitude? not exactly sure how magnitude works though
