Turtle charm question
In the latest patch we have:
"Passive Block chance now applies to blockable hits from all directions, as opposed to just hits from in front." Given that we can block passively now. What is the point in the Warbringer ascension perk "Turtle Charm: 35% less block chance. Can block damage from all hits while shield is not raised." What benefit does it actually give you? i second to this, please we need a reply by a developer to clarify everything abotu blocking precisely as the game feels like shit when we take an ascendency that we don't understand.

Turtle charms appears to allow you to block any damage that would be considered a hit. So this includes aoe related spells and attacks as well. Whereas normal block can only block strikes and projectiles.
The only thing turtle shell shouldn't be able to block is dot damage since that is not a hit. You are not Prepared
