I Am Thoroughly Enjoying POE2

I am playing as a Monk.

I was feeling very strong until I fought the Mad Wolf. This was my first wall.

I then re-specked my Monk, because I had gone all in on Crit vs. Attack Speed on my passive skill tree.

I also upgraded my gear and weapon. Farmed a bit to get enough gold to do all this and then went back to Geonor.

It only took 2 attempts and I f*&@ed him up.

Now i'm in Act 2 - and have not hit a wall yet. Been clearing every boss with <2 attempts.

The latest being Tor Gul The Defiler (https://youtu.be/xCvExgSfaY8)

So to all those hating on the game for it being too difficult or nerfing any given build.

Just remember you have a LOT of possibilities at your fingertips to make your build work for you.

Thank you!

Likewise, Dev has done a great job, a lot of time has gone by since i've played POE but POE2 so far looks great.

Difficulty seems just about right, first few mini Bosses were dispatched with just the right amount of challenge and I'm not following and builds.

Good job GGG.
Checking back on this thread when you get passed the easy mode. The game is beautiful, visually and audibly stimulating.

But this is the bottom line. The balance between penalty and reward is borked.

But to be honest, this is the REAL gameplay... chase being OP, because let's face it, that's what the game has ALWAYS been about, then GGG nerfs it to take it away.

Doesn't matter if you spent countless hours grinding, crafting, trading to get to that point... did you taste the honey? Good... now go back to Act 1 and start again, because that build is now garbage.

I already got my $30 worth of play in the EA... but this game, as it stands now, will not see me playing long term... it's just not fun.

Health of the game is one thing... but for a company to take your money then actively try and sabotage your enjoyment.... nah thanks.
Same having tons of fun, best game imo for me in a long time.
"I'm having a blast in act2 etc."

sure, see you in season 2.

I think majority of the people that are still in campaign and talking about having a blast just haven't realized this is a seasonal grinding ARPG, not a onetime souls-like RPG.
And I don't even think they are the targeting audience for GGG, because they don't really need stash tabs nor MTX during campaign, and that is where $ comes from post EA.
Wait until you want collect all points of your chosen ascendancies.
