Thought on Negative Resistance Each act...

So curious why punish first time people going through the game with negative resistance each act? lol was this on purpose or? lol, so the time we get to act 6 were going to have -50 resistance give or take on top of things being difficulty each act. lol.... i mean i dont mind the difficulty or negative buff each act but this is going to make people not replay especially when mapping and harder difficulties lol...

It’s kind of a time gate, PoE and D4 have it not so sure about Last Epoch. It’s to encourage crafting and seeking upgrades as you level beyond just doing more damage to offset the resistances you lose. As you find items with higher possible rolls (the range of stats on gear) you’ll have an easier time dealing with the downsides of progressing through the story.
Oh i get that, you can stack and get better defense and resist on gear in general, but was just stating as a new comer playing , they really dont say much about it , i get in general upping difficulty having - debuffs effects and etc, but shouldnt really have them as a first time new comer to the game since it is early "access" but i get having them if going through another play through etc etc not a first time doing story for well new comers to the game... .. just a thought on the act / debuffs .... or maybe they should just state each act you get a debuff some where stating it instead of flashing real fast on the screen once and thats it...
