whit black flame ,what damage increased effect it ?

i am useing black flame ring ,to change ignite to chaos damage .
to raise the damage ,what damage shold i have my BD turn to ?

spell damage?
fire damage?
chaos damage?

thanks for any answer,i am realy comfused ,since there is no train target in the game
