Is it possible to merge accounts?

Friend got account on poe2 website, and then he played on steam and somehow created character on different account. Once you log in character selection screen, there is an option to chose from 2 acc.
The one he is using to play doesn't have 1k points and he cant use trading as website account is different.

Is there any way to merge them both together?
