Cast on freeze fiasco nerfed my drive to play.

Was having fun, finally able to say that I felt strong enough for the content i was in. Spending all my currency crafting gear for my character and its fun new build. Gambling all my money on potential upgrades. only to log in and see it was all actually a waste of time and effort.
Cant afford a respec, dont have gear or currency for an alt, and I can't grind to get it.

Now knowing that my progress and time can essentially be erased on a whim, and with the holidays around the corner. I just don't have the desire or energy to start over.

same. i have 67 hours already and i'm not looking forward to starting a new character because it's too expensive to respec and i can't even clear tier 1 maps.

Exactly - the game is slow and mostly boring at the beginning. I love PoE - but making Alts here is entirely too time consuming id rather just play another game where im allowed to have fun.

same here 60+ hours for nothing.
