Cast on Freeze Nerf

Hello GGG, I am truly disappointed. I spent all my Gold and Exalts on Gear to support my Cast on Freeze Build, I was having fun trough Cruel ever since I got Cast on Freeze Comet. The time before that as a frost mage was truly hard and 60% of the time not fun, but I didn't complain because my character kept getting stronger after finally hitting "the sweet spot". I was happy to have found a combination of skills and gems that worked without looking up guides.

And now? I can't even kill white mobs. My build still works when there are blue or rare monsters, but when there are just packs of white mobs: I stand there and nothing happens. When theres a single white mob in front of me? I take longer to kill it instead of a blue one. If there would be no mob-pack without a blue in them things wouldn't be as bad.

Why does something get nerfed SO HARD that it becomes unplayable? Why do I now not get multiple tree respecs for free? Do you know how expensive it is to respec?

I now have to get a new weapon, new passive tree, new rings, new everything. First of all I need a build that works at all which I don't have right now.

You just killed the game for me.

I have been staying up way too late playing COF Sorc, and as a new player I was feeling pretty good about figuring out the skill tree and skill interaction on my own without following any guides.

Just as I am getting ready to finish Cruel Act 3 and get into end game which will probably consume all my free time, GGG stepped in and stopped me from being irresponsible any further.

Now I can forget about POE2 and revert back to a normal schedule where I cook, go to the gym, read and learn Japanese in the evening.
