Asynchronous player trading (PoE 1 console)

I really liked how trading works in PoE 1 on console and hope for something similar again.

Reasons:

I would not describe myself as overly anxious, but initiating trade via tell/whisper and then somehow to navigate menues to visit that persons hideout stresses me out. Someone is then waiting for my visit and it stresses me out to go there to meet up.

The social functions may be better embedded in PoE 2, but still my aversion remains. I have not tried it.

Playstation has no browser. I don't want to have to use my phone to play the game.

Especially if PoE 2 aims for looting fewer items, then trading becomes more crucial. So console players are kind of in a bind to use a trading system, no matter what.

I really liked the trading in PoE 1 console... adding some catchwords and browsing through pages with highlighted stuff felt good.

I clearly have my preferences and may be somewhat odd and a minority with this opinion / request. But regardless of me I think the pc-like trading system with an external device / browser needed would hurt the game on console. It would be a huge hurdle for casual gamers, who don't search the internet how to do stuff or would not be inclined to do so.

PoE 2 on console needs an accessible trading solution ingame, which is easy to understand and execute. Even it is subpar in overall functionality.

Great game. I care. Keep up the good work.

100% agree with this. We had same on xbox, and it's way more efficient than what you have to do on pc. I really hope we get this on poe2
